Bio
Danny is a US citizen and was born in Lebanon amid the beginning of the Lebanese Civil War. His parents fled abandoning home in order to secure a better living and safer haven where they could secure a peaceful future filled with memorable milestones.
Danny moved around trying to find the perfect place that he could call home. Having a diverse background made him more inclined to spend a lot of my time in and around Europe & the Middle East. His last stop before the United States was London, where he resided for a while and got his intensive Acting Training. In addition to that, he holds a Bachelors Degree in Advertising Art Design & Business Administration / Management.
He is the Founder & proud Owner of DANBOU PICTURES (www.danboupictures.com) Production Company, under which a full feature Film “LOVE HEIST" currently in Pre-Production, will be Produced. It is currently projected to be slated for production in 2011 (TBA) for a projected release in 2012. The screenplay is written & will be directed by Danny Boushebel. Being well-traveled & having a diversified background has made his journey so far very full-filling as it has acted as his personal muse. Mingling with different cultures & people from all walks of life, and being able to do that as he is multi-lingual, is one of the most precious gifts that were granted to him.
Moreover, his passion for the Entertainment & Arts was unlimited. He has sold Oil & Acrylic Abstract & Modern Art Paintings all over. Writing is also one of his greatest interests. Over the years, he has managed to write a collection of Poetry in the type of what he calls "INTIMISM” or in other words, very 'personal'. Thoughts flowing in his mind translated to a vision which has also opened up new avenues taking him down the route of writing Full-Feature Screenplays.
2009 & 2010 have been very auspicious years as many films that Danny starred in went to major film festivals, along with a wonderful NEW YORK TIMES Review on his touching leading performance in "BAGHDADI BATH" at the LaMama ETC in NYC in March 2009 and an INDIE SLATE MAGAZINE Review (Dec. 2009)on his portrayal of ‘Death’ in the feature film “CHRONICLES OF THE BEYOND”. He also starred in Pilots, music videos, commercials, voiceovers, etc...
2011 is looking very promising as Danny was a Principal on the Episodic “DAMAGES” (aired on DIRECTV's Audience Network) in the Season Premiere Episode 401, as well as on "PAN AM" in Episode 106, airing on ABC Channel 7, on Sunday Oct. 30th, 2011 at 10PM) & many more other interesting feature films that are currently in post production and in development.
